Heather Gall - Artist gall24

Heather Gall Fine Art & Studio – …a world away from the hustle & bustle…  Heather Gall is a Painter and children’s book illustrator/designer.  She loves the challenge of interpreting and extending the story through image in children’s illustration. It is so rewarding to share and inspire young writers and illustrators.  She is available as a facilitator / presenter at your school! (Prep to year7).

As an artist Heather portrays the intrinsic feelings and moods of the environment that she is in, absorbing the musicality and tempo of the moment. Working both prescriptively and intuitively, music and the natural world and environment are strong themes in her work.  Her paintings, children’s books and art cards are available from the studio and via the website.

Heather opens her studio by appointment and also during the Arts Connect Inc. Open Studios Program, near Maleny in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.  Here she conducts her arts practice and a variety of workshops and classes.  She welcome small groups for ‘plein air’ landscape / mixed media / mindful arts experiences. There is good accommodation nearby so you can also take in the ambiance of the beautiful Hinterland townships of Maleny and Montville. Group inquiries are welcome.  In particular, she facilitates Mindful Arts Experiences in collaboration with her colleague Janet Hamilton.
