WittaFest 2015 an inaugural event bringing people of Witta and surrounds together. It will be held at the Witta Recreation Club Saturday 19th September from 10 am to sunset. Enjoy stories, crafts, music, food, drink (and German Beer!) all wrapped in history! Come and discover Witta’s historic landscape & pioneer life with historic displays & tours of the Church, School & Cemetery.
Musicians: The Barleyshakes (folk music, fiddle, banjo & guitar); The Kelly Family Band (family folk music); Kim Kirkman (classical and folk airs on harp and viola); Irish Joe Lynch (inspirational storytelling); Mitch Ruggles (banjo – Americal 19th century); McKay & Wright (traditional folk music); Astar & Rawhinia (classical violin pieces); Rubatuba (tuba / sousaphone and accordion) and Maleny Singers (classical extracts from Bizet’s Carmen).
